Country Director

Charles Emma Ofwono is the Country Director of the Kenzie Immaculate Foundation (KIF), where he leads the organization’s efforts to strengthen public health management systems. With over 13 years of experience in organizational development and program design, Charles has proven himself to be committed to impactful initiatives. His expertise extends to capacity building, fundraising, and innovative facilitation approaches. Charles has a successful track record of identifying funding opportunities and building strong relationships with donors to achieve organizational objectives.

In addition to his work at KIF, Charles serves as the Commissioner for Youth at the Uganda AIDS Commission within the Office of the President. He is also a distinguished member of the Uganda Country Coordinating Mechanism for the Global Fund. These roles highlight his ability to develop effective funding strategies and support the growth of local non-governmental
organizations. Charles is known for his dedication to research and innovation, and he stays up to date with emerging trends and best practices in public health. He leads numerous research studies and leverages data analysis techniques to derive evidence-based insights that drive programmatic advancements.

Charles is also an innovator who has developed novel approaches and interventions to address critical community development challenges. His initiatives have a positive and lasting impact on communities, fostering tangible change.
